There is a big discussion on the internet about a new Google algorithm update which is named Google Dinosaur. The discussion came up when Matt Cutts, head of web spam at Google, published a new video which contains the information that there will be a new update.
Let us take a look on this new update in Google. According to the YouTube video published by Matt Cutts, he was acting like a dinosaur. Thats why people have guessed out that the next update will be a Dinosaur update which will kill all the previous Google Updates including the Penguin and Panda updates.
The so-called dinosaur update has not been officially declared by Google. But many people are still unsuspecting that their sites have been ranked down. The search engine results are able to track the effect of this updates through the lower rankings of their sites. As we know that Google Panda had highlighted on original contents and Google Penguin on backlinks and anchor texts. As well, it has been estimated that this new dinosaur update would stop giving importance or weight to never updated old sites and would lower their rankings.
From many web reports we know that Google changes its search algorithms innumerable times. While most of these changes are minor, every few months Google rules out a major algorithmic update that affects the search results in significant ways.
